Brother Requirements

Active

• Complete 24 hours of Service
     (Only 12 outside hours allowed)
• Complete 15 hours of Fellowship
     (Only 5 spontaneous hours allowed)
• Obtain 150 Leadership points
     (Minimum of 75 points must be inside)
• Serve on and complete requirements for at least one committee
• Chair one event
• Obtain 100 membership points
• Attend 3/4 (75%) of brothers' meetings
• Participate in the New Member process
     (Attend at least 1 Interview Event)
• Pay chapter and national dues

Associate

• Complete 12 hours of Service
     (Only 6 outside hours allowed)
• Complete 7.5 hours of Fellowship
     (Only 5 spontaneous hours allowed)
• Complete two of the following:
  • Serve on and complete requirements for at least one committee
  • Obtain 150 Leadership points (Minimum 75 inside)
  • Chair an event
• Obtain 50 membership points
• Attend 3 brothers' meetings
• Participate in the New Member process
     (Attend at least 1 Interview Event)
• Pay chapter and national dues

New Member Requirements

• Complete 15 hours of Service
     (Only 7.5 outside hours allowed)
• Complete 10 hours of Fellowship
     (Only 3 outside hours allowed)
• Obtain 90 leadership points*
• Serve on a New Member committee
• As a New Member class, plan and carry out a service and fellowship event
• Attend New Member meetings
• Attend 3 brothers' meetings (reports and business count as separate meeting credits)
• Co-chair one event
• Pass weekly quizzes on information about Alpha Phi Omega
• Interview 100% of other new members
• Interview 80% of the active brothers
• Attend Launch (part of APO LEADS)
• Attend Rituals
• Pinning
• Big/Little
• Initiation
• Pay New Member dues

* Launch is worth 40 Leadership Points, and the other 25 can be obtained via any Leadership event.

Hazing Policy

Alpha Phi Omega is a service fraternity and the members of this fraternity will never haze you in any way, shape or form, nor will they demand any form of personal service from you.

Alcohol Policy

Alpha Phi Omega has a tradition of excellence, and alcohol should never be consumed while representing the fraternity (ie, Letters, Pins, etc.). Remember to obey the Scout Law at all times.
